Our 8 week Assistant Teacher/Family Child Care Owner Program includes the following courses:  

• Fundamentals of Family Child Care

• Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care (includes SIDS/SBS)

• Introduction to the Child Care Profession (Includes Mandated Report - Child Abuse & Neglect)

• First Aid/CPR/AED

Our 11 week Lead Teacher Program includes the following courses:  

• Fundamentals of Family Child Care

• Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care (includes SIDS/SBS)

• Introduction to the Child Care Profession (Includes Mandated Report - Child Abuse & Neglect)

• Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher

• First Aid/CPR/AED

The program is set up for students to meet once a week for class. Most of the work will be done outside of the classroom, independently.  This is called a blended class program.  All materials will be provided via email.

Program sessions are held on a Trimester basis:

Fall (September) Winter (January) Spring/Summer (May)

Classes are currently held Remotely via Google Meet

​

Need help with funding?  We work with several agencies that could help by paying all or most of your tuition. Please answer the following questions:

 

1. Are you receiving Food Share benefits?  Get into the FSET Program by calling 1-888-947-6583.  Once enrolled in that program, let them know you are interested in the Networx child care training program.

 

2. Are you on W2 with Ross Innovative Employment Solutions?  Talk to your FEP about enrolling in the TEMP program. Let them know you are interested in the Networx child care training program.  Other Agencies may assist like Maximus, Goodwill, YMCA, etc...  Rescare can also help with funding the program.  See your FEP for details.

 

3.  Are you working at least 20 hours a week? You may qualify for SDC funding.  Contact Tyrone at 414-906-2711 let him know you are interested in the Networx child care training program.

Installment Program

If you do not qualify for any of the above programs, you can apply for the weekly installment payment program.  Payment of $100 down and $50 per week.  Balance due at the end of the program.
