About

This course provides entry level knowledge and skills for those who are beginning to or intend to care for children in licensed group or family child care. Participants will explore the rules and regulations governing licensed group and licensed family child care along with the responsibilities of a child care providers. This course fulfills introductory non-credit course requirements as specified in DCF Chapters 250 and 251 for licensed family and group child care in Wisconsin's Administrative Code. Students are required to complete and pass all assignments/quizzes with a 80% score and participate in peer-to-peer discussions in order to receive certificates. Tier: 3, Duration 45 hours
