This course is designed for individuals who are fulfilling Wisconsin’s HFS requirements for Lead Child Care Teacher. This course focuses on skills and strategies for the child care teacher with emphasis on selecting developmentally appropriate activities, planning lessons, and facilitating children's activities. This course meets Wisconsin's requirements for Lead Child Care Teacher. Students are required to complete and pass all assignments/quizzes with a 80% score and participate in peer-to-peer discussions in order to receive certificates. Please note, the assessments are 50% of your grade so you must achieve a 80% score on that portion as well. ***Prerequisite: Introduction to the Child Care Profession Tier: 3, Duration 45 hours
